Description: J Martinez Enterprises, Inc., is seeking Interns to join our dynamic company. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking a career in Artist Management, Production, Marketing, Music Production, or Social Media Management. 

J Martinez Enterprises isan Artist Management and Production company based in NYC. With more than 20 years of music, promotion, event coordination & management; JME caters to educating artists on their craft. Using bold and innovative strategies, backed with a business savvy; JME serves the creative side of tomorrow's artists and from podcasting and vocal production to development programs; JME provides services to satisfy your production needs. 

The Intern will assist the JME team on various projects and tasks to gain experience in the field of Artist Management and Production. He/She will work on a wide variety of projects.

Hours are flexible, with a minimum of ten hours a week. This position is available starting mid-February, and end date/holiday schedule is flexible. 

We are currently in need of 3 interns: 

Administrative Intern will carry out administrative tasks such as: 

* Schedule sessions and meetings

* Record meeting minutes 

* Be the go-between of artists, clients and team members

*Manage calendar

*Manage emails 

Artist Management Intern:

*Complete data research 

*Help manage social media accounts of clients 

*Act as an aid for clients 

*Attend client sessions

Production Intern:

*Complete data research 

*Assist with pre-and post-production tasks

*Attend studio sessions 

Projects / Learning Outcomes: 

The intern will be supervised by a member of the JME team and receive training on Project Management. Intern will learn cross team communications and project management skills, as well as higher proficiency of MS Suite skills, ability to construct content and enhance communications as well as the usage of web tools, etc. The intern will work with high profile clients, in studios, and gain exposure to specific Artist Management terminology. 

The role will not be boring or mundane and the intern will have an opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of management and planning productions.

This is a great opportunity to enhance skills in organization, multi-tasking, communications, and learn about production, social media marketing, and management. 

Qualifications and Requirements: •Use of MS office suite – basic Word, Outlook, and Excel. PowerPoint helpful. •Enrolled in a college degree program or graduated less than 3 years ago •Strong communication (oral, writing and presentation) skills •Detail oriented •Professional presence and demeanor • Friendly
